About 

Dr Wells Clinic was founded in 2021 by Dr Lauren Wells, Aesthetic doctor and GP registrar in the NHS. 

The clinic offers non-surgical treatments like anti-wrinkle injections, microneedling and keloid scar treatment headed by Dr Wells, who is medical director, and her colleague, aesthetics doctor Dr Cunning.

Dr Wells discovered her love for aesthetics after attending a training course whilst working as a junior doctor in the NHS. After this she developed her expertise in the field working at a well-known clinic on Wigmore Street and training alongside industry experts Dr TakTouk and Dr Tara Francis. 

Alongside running her medical aesthetics practice at UNTIL's specialist aesthetic facilities, she continues to work as a doctor within the NHS.

The challenge  

Dr Wells needed a CQC compliant workspace in a prime location to run her clinic and offer clients a comfortable experience.

However, her previous provider didn’t offer the luxury experience that she wanted to deliver. She was also being charged a full day rate for short appointments, which not only meant her expenses were higher but made it difficult to work flexibly too.

Most of Dr Wells’ referrals were from word of mouth or Instagram, so impressing clients with a high-end treatment room and finding a flexible workspace was essential to driving business and growth.

Dr Wells came across UNTIL’s aesthetic rooms, which are designed especially for health and wellness practitioners, after an online search. The aesthetics rooms were fully kitted out with electric beds, work desks and treatment stools that would help her deliver a premium experience. 

Best of all, there was flexible access to the rooms, which meant she could cut costs by hiring the space only when she needed it.

The strong community and support system at UNTIL also attracted Dr Wells. She had access to a co-working space where she could connect with other business owners and allied health professionals.

As an NHS medical doctor with varying shift patterns, Dr Wells has an exceptionally busy schedule – but with UNTIL’s flexible bookings, she’s able to fit in more appointments including treatments that take as little as 30 minutes. She also has greater control and freedom over her business, and can take on clients without worrying about space and high fees. 

Looking ahead, Dr Wells plans to grow her clinic at UNTIL and expand into wellness by offering holistic health and ageing prevention services. 

UNTIL will play a key role and host her first launch event on 21 November.
